FAQ

  • Every custom build is different, so the cost per square foot can vary. Most projects start around $300/sqft, but factors like design, finishes, site conditions, and market pricing all play a role. Before we start construction, you’ll have a clear, detailed budget to work from—no surprises.

  • Project timelines vary depending on size, complexity, and location. Most builds take 6 to 18 months after breaking ground. This doesn’t include design and permitting, which we help guide you through beforehand. We’ll share a baseline schedule with you early so everyone’s on the same page.

  • We’ll begin by learning more about your goals, timeline, location, and ideas. If you have land, we can get started on design with our team. If not, we recommend securing property first. Bringing design ideas or inspiration photos is always helpful!

  • We build in Colorado, primarily serving Teller, El Paso, and Douglas Counties. Whether it’s a mountain custom home or an in-town renovation, we’re ready to help.

  • Site prep includes surveys, access, utility planning, soil tests, and full project design. We guide you through this process so it’s as smooth and stress-free as possible.

  • Utility costs depend on things like property location, tap fees, and proximity to service lines. We’ll help you identify those costs early in planning so there are no surprises later.

  • You’ll get weekly updates, whether that’s a job site walk or written report. We also keep daily logs, which your project manager will share weekly. You’re always welcome to visit the site—just let us know so we can ensure safety while you're there.

  • We’re happy to help from the very beginning. Whether you have plans already or need help with design and permitting, we can handle it all or collaborate with your team.

  • For remodels, you might be able to stay in part of the home, depending on the scope. Safety is our top priority, so we’ll help you decide what’s realistic and safe.

  • Email is our main form of communication, but we’re always available for meetings and job site walkthroughs. We aim for at least one formal update each week.

  • We get multiple bids and review each one to ensure quality and coverage. We only work with licensed, insured subs we trust. Our team checks in on-site daily to answer questions and ensure quality work.
