“Matukat” may not be familiar, but for founders Ben Harrison and Spencer Allen, it represents a mission rooted in trust and purpose.

On a secluded dirt road in Colorado’s high country, what began as an idea became a commitment: to build with integrity, care, safety, quality, and purpose. That same commitment guides Matukat today as a people-first construction company grounded in relationships and trust.

Our Co-Founders

Ben harrison

Co-Founder & CEO

A Kansas native, Ben has been around construction all his life. Having a father in the industry for over 40 years, Ben grew up taking on projects in concrete, carpentry, and iron work. Ben moved to Colorado and managed projects from a log home renovation to a custom pool for a AAA 4 Diamond Resort. This led Ben to dream about serving clients in the local community and teaming up with his best friend in the process.

In his spare time, you can find Ben cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs and K-State Wildcats, hanging out with his family, and exploring the Rocky Mountains.

SPENCER ALLEN

Co-Founder & President

Spencer grew up in Northwest Indiana and moved to Colorado over ten years ago, where he discovered his passion for project management. After several years of managing jobs around the state of Colorado, Spencer realized he wanted to start a company serving clients in and around Colorado Springs.

When he’s not working, Spencer enjoys hunting, watching football, and hanging out with his family.
